Español: Una de las más interesantes novedades musicales es esta reunión de jóvenes dilettanti norteamericanas, que dedican sus ocios en cantar las composiciones del notable músico inglés Leslie.
Dirigidas por míster Albert Stokes, las distinguidas cantantes, señoritas: Dama Sykes, Fay Evelyn, Dorothy Leeds, Muriel Lodge, Beatrice Swanson, Marcela Swanson, Leveria Gibson y Madelina Richards, han demostrado grandes condiciones y exquisito gusto en la interpretación de las obras del gran maestro. Este piadoso homenaje de admiración, que las lindas muchachas ofrendan a Leslie, exhumando su deliciosa música, es una prueba de la importancia que entre la sociedad norteamericana han adquirido las bellas artes, sobre todo la música en cuyo culto las dilettanti de aquel país ponen tanta dedicación como en el más interesante deporte. |
