| Description |
English: Plumpton Crossways The name given to the area around the Plough Inn where five minor roads meet. South Road in the picture runs from Wivelsfield Green to South Chailey; Beresford Lane branching off to the right in the distance heads to North Chailey; whilst St Helena branching off to the left further on goes to Ditchling Common. The one road out of view is behind the photographer and heads south to Plumpton Green. |
