English: Plumage House in Shepherdess Walk This apparently disused building was once the premises of Feather Merchants Bestimt & Co. Ltd. Presumably they supplied the upholstery trade but there is no clue as to how long the business existed. The building is 'listed' by the London Borough of Hackney.
In an earlier incarnation it was a pub, The Royal Standard. Address: 106 Shepherdess Walk (formerly at Ashley Crescent). |
