Description
English: Comparison of two major quantum state discrimination techniques - minimum error discrimination (MED) and unambiguous state discrimination (USD). The probabilities of undesirable results are plotted as a function of the angle between two pure quantum states that are to be discriminated. The undesirable result is the erroneous identification of the state for MED and the occurrence of the inconclusive result for USD.
Čeština: Srovnání dvou hlavních technik rozlišení kvantových stavů - rozlišení s minimální chybou (MED) a jednoznačné rozlišení (USD). Pravděpodobnosti nežádoucích výsledků jsou vykresleny jako funkce úhlu mezi dvěma čistými kvantovými stavy, které mají být rozlišeny. Nežádoucím výsledkem je chybné určení stavu pro MED a obdržení neprůkazného výsledku pro USD.
