Description
Français : Monuments aux héros des deux guerres mondiales - Cimetière de Bolovani - Section militaire.

Architecte probable mais non certain: Toma T. Socolescu. Cet obélisque est situé dans la partie militaire du cimetière de Bolovani à Ploieşti, Judeţul Prahova, Roumanie. Construit en 1923-24, il sera détruit par les bombardement du 6 avril 1944 puis reconstruit en béton en 1957 et encore reconstruit en pierre et bronze en 1997 et 2004.

Nous sommes les descendants et uniques ayant-droits de toute l'oeuvre de Toma T. Socolescu (mort en 1960 à Bucarest).

Architect Toma T. Socolescu has probably built it but it is not certain. This obelisk is located in the military cemetery of Bolovani in Ploieşti, Judetul Prahova, Romania. Built in 1923-24, it was destroyed by the american bombing of April 6, 1944 and then rebuilt in concrete in 1957 and again rebuilt in stone and bronze in 1997 and 2004.

We are the only heirs and descendants of Toma T. Socolescu (died in 1960 in Bucharest) and therefore owner of all his intellectual rights.
