Description
English: A monolayer of rat pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells exhibiting collective migration. Each cell in the monolayer exert appreciable normal but minimal shear stress on its neighbor, and tend to migrate along the orientation of local highest tension (long axis of principal stress ellipse shown in blue).
