English: Pleated fan. Paper leaf with hand-colored lithograph. Obverse: romantic scene of pleasure boat and figured in 17th century costume. Reverse: romantic pastoral scene showing shepherds and shepherdesses in country landscape. Guards and sticks of mother-of-pearl, pierced with quatrefoil design, engraved and applied with gold foil.
