Reverse: Chinoiserie scene with a man and woman in a landscape with a boat and a bare tree. Guard and sticks of pierced and carved mother-of-pearl with gold foil. Gorge covered with a diaper pattern of applied straw, showing an elaborately carved and pierced rocaille framework enclosing figures. |
