English: Severo Ochoa Square in Cartagena (Spain), presided over by a 34.5 meter monolith that was designed by architects Francisco Marín and Juan Gómez. The work, which represents a ship to evoke the history of the city, is made up of a concrete column, a weathering steel sheet and a stretched sailcloth in the shape of a Lateen sail.

La obra, que representa un barco para evocar la historia de la ciudad, está compuesta por una columna de hormigón, una lámina de acero corten y una lona tensada en forma de vela latina. |
