English: Platform 1 at Holyhead A view looking to the northeast from the A5 overbridge towards Platform 1 at Holyhead, showing Class 57 locomotive 57316 Fab 1 at the head of Pendolino unit 390 032 City of Glasgow. The Pendolinos are normally powered from overhead catenary wires, which have not yet reached Holyhead, hence the Class 57 attached at the head of the train. I am not sure if this formation was for a railtour or operating a service train. |
