The Ascent of Elijah. Elisha falling to his knees at left as his father Elijah ascends through the clouds in a chariot above (2 Kings 2:10-11). 1791. Inscriptions: Lettered below image with title, bible reference, production detail: "P. J. De Loutherbourg R.A. Pinxt.", "W.
