Description
Español: Vista del número 8 de la Alameda Principal, Málaga, España, donde se observa el emplazamiento en la entrada del edificio de la placa en forma de mosaico cerámico (azulejo) dedicada a Hans Christian Andersen. La placa se encuentra en el lugar donde antiguamente se encontraba la Fonda de Oriente, en la que se alojó en 1862 el escritor danés durante su estancia en la ciudad de Málaga. El texto en la placa dice: «"En ninguna parte de España me sentí tan feliz y tan / en casa como en Málaga. Las costumbres de sus / gentes, su temperamento, el ancho mar, todo ello / tan necesario y rico para mí, lo encontré allí. / Y es más, encontré algo todavía más importante: / gente amable y comprensiva". / Hans Christian Andersen / Málaga, Octubre 1862 / La Colonia Danesa a la Ciudad de Málaga - Octubre 1987». El mosaico aparece firmado en Málaga por «A. Ruiz de Luna».
