| Description |
English: Plaque on Memorial Cairn on Priest's Tarn Hill. On the 24th June 1967 tragedy struck in the Mossdale Cave system. Six young people lost their lives in the cave during heavy rainfall. The tragedy remains the UK's worst caving accident to this date.
