English: Plaque on Ibsley Bridge This is quite hard to read, except when well lit, so I thought I'd put it on record before it erodes further. As far as I can tell, it reads:
REBUILT FROM THE FOUNDATIONS WITH TWO ADDITIONAL SPANS BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL 1930 W. J. TAYLOR, O.B.E., M. INST C.E. COUNTY SURVEYOR C. GRACE & SONS, CONTRACTOR There is also a benchmark in bottom right corner. |
