English: Plaque at Llyn Brianne dam - 1 Viewing westwards with the perimeter lane on the left. This plaque shows the dam construction, which is unusual. The centre water-proof clay core is kept in place by tons of rock either side. Basically a pile of rock rather than the more common reinforced concrete structures. |
