English: Plaque at Llyn Brianne - 2 Looking westwards with the perimeter lane to the left. Opened in 1973, the lake is used to control water flow down Afon Tywi for supply to the conurbations in the south of Wales. Note that the sign uses the English spelling, which would probably have not gone down too well in some quarters (and CENG never looks right in capitals). |
