Description
Français : Plaque du "Cyprès de la Sultane", Jardin de la Sultane, palais du Generalife, Grenade, Espagne. voir File:Cyprès Sultane Generalife Granada Spain.jpg.
English: Plaque of the Sultana's Cypress, Garde of the Sultana, Generalife palace, Granada, Spain. According to the romantic legend (and the plaque), the tree was the witness - in the 15th-century - of the love story between an Abencerrage knight and the Sultana, wife of Boabdil, the last moorish king. After discovering that, the king ordered the massacre of the whole Abencerrage tribe. Please see File:Cyprès Sultane Generalife Granada Spain.jpg.
