Description

Plant No. 1 of The Kennedy Valve Mfg. Co., Elmira, N.Y. Devoted exclusively to the manufacture of Kennedy Valves and Fire Hydrants. This plant covers 20 acres, and includes pattern department, brass and iron foundries, machine shops, assembling department, testing rooms, warehouses, etc. Railroad switches running into the buildings connect with tracks of the D.L.& W., Pennsylvania, Erie and Lehigh Valley Railroads.
