Summary

[edit]
English: This map is based on maps as published in newspapers in the 1930s. The district boundaries are roughly based on the sector/area-code boundaries of after 1995 as in File:2010-Telefonie-Prov-650px.png and published by the ACM (formerly OPTA). The underlying map of the Netherlands is based on File:Provinces of the Netherlands.svg which is from after 2000, although I removed the Flevo polders and the delta works.
Description
English: Original plan for the division of the Netherlands into telephone districts, with the planned connections between the group and district exchanges. Not all districts would be automatically dialable from each other. This plan was only partially implemented; it was replaced by a plan with longer area codes with all districts reachable from each other.
