Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Approximately 16% of fibrocartilaginous hamartomas of the lung contain structures composed of abundant myxoid or fibroedematous stroma with respiratory epithelial lining resulting in papillary projections resembling immature placental villi. The epithelium lining these projections is reported to be TTF-1 positive. Similar structures have also been reported in association with bullous emphysema and lipomatosis.
