Summary
[edit]DescriptionPipit of the Frozen Wastes (26105281377).jpg |
I ran into a group of three pipits during the snowstorm on Wednesday, but my autofocus was struggling to cut through the falling snow and all my shots were pretty not-so-great. I was kind of mad until I remembered that I knew exactly where to find more: the back roads of Manor Township, where all the horned larks hang out. I saw about six or seven as I rolled down Charlestown road after work doing 5 mph in a 50 mph zone and being a general traffic nuisance. Oh well, it was worth it, since they'll all be gone in a week or two until next March. |
