Description
Español: Pinzas celtíberas tipo Cigarralejo y pinzas celtíberas enterizas. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España. Descripciones, de izquierda a derecha:
  • Pinzas de bronce con palas con decoración calada que representan motivos de tallos que adoptan formas serpenteantes en espiral. Conserva una anilla de suspensión de cobre. Este tipo de pinzas caladas tiene sus paralelos en el ámbito ibérico, por lo que se conocen como de "tipo Cigarralejo", en referencia a la necrópolis murciana. Las pinzas de depilar se localizan en ajuares con armas. Materia: Bronce. Procedencia: Necrópolis de La Osera (Chamartín, Ávila). Siglo V-IV a. C. Longitud:13 cm; anchura: 2 cm; grosor: 0,30 cm. Nº inv. 1986/81/I/T.D/I/3.
  • Pinzas enterizas compuestas por una lámina de hierro doblada por su centro, doblez que actúa como muelle dejando dos palas, cuyos extremos se doblan ligeramente hacia dentro para conformar la parte útil de la pieza al permitir agarrar el vello. Se decora recortando la chapa en el tercio superior de las palas resultantes, junto al muelle. Hallada en una sepultura con un ajuar de armas en la que destaca la presencia de una espada de tipo La Tène, este tipo de pinzas se relaciona con el aseo personal del guerrero primero y del cuerpo del difunto después. Procedencia: Necrópolis de La Requijada de Gormaz (Gormaz, Soria). Técncia: Hierro forjado. Longitud: 8,70 cm. Anchura de la hoja de útil: 1,80 cm. Nº inv. 24391.

Iberian and Vettonian tweezers have an openwork pattern but elsewhere on the peninsula they are made of one piece. They have been found in grave goods with weapons. 5th-3rd century BC.
