Description
English: Drawing of Pinus cembroides sensu G.Gordon 1846, non Zucc. 1832 [= Pinus orizabensis (D.K.Bailey) D.K.Bailey & F.G.Hawksworth] accompanying the original description in Gordon, G. (1847), New Plants, etc., from the Society's Garden. Journal of the Horticultural Society 1: 226-240, 1846. Specimen collected 'in the cold districts of the mountain of Orizaba, near the village of Chichiquila', Puebla, Mexico; approx 19°11'0"N 97°2'0"W, 3000m altitude.
