Description
English: Pine Garden, built in 1943, used to be a military official's residence during the Japanese colonial rule. It is also the highest point of Hualien city. You can see the whole city from here, even the Pacific Ocean.
中文(臺灣):松園別館舊名為花蓮港陸軍兵事部,建於昭和18年,當時為日軍在花蓮最高軍事指揮中心,又因園內松樹繁茂,環境十分清幽,且地勢居高臨下,同時可遠眺花蓮港及太平洋,成為當時高級軍官的休憩場所。
