Português: Na reforma à qual foi submetido na década de 1970, o prédio teve parte da fachada principal revestida com travertino, massa especial que imita o mármore. Entre 1995 e 2002, uma série de restaurações foi realizada. Hoje, com seus salões e telhados totalmente recuperados, seus pátios internos cobertos, e sua iluminação específica e adequada, a Pinacoteca abriga importantes exposições de artes plásticas. Nas visitas ao museu, além de um acervo com mais de 4 mil peças, o público encontra um ambiente que conduz a uma verdadeira viagem no tempo. Através dos arte-educadores, sempre é feito um importante resgate da história do prédio e, conseqüentemente, de São Paulo
