English: Pillbox on the corner. This type FW3/22 pillbox from WWII is located in a sharp bend beside the road leading to St Mary's church > 910289. It was constructed in 1940/41 and once formed part of the Acle nodal point. The structure is listed in the Defence of Britain database, reference number S0013686. See also > 910175 and 910179. |
