The two foregoing letters were copied from the originals, in the hands ofWilliam Mitchell, now (March 9, 1851,) living in Bridgevvater, in his 91styear, and who is of the 6th generation from Experience, inclusive. Copiedby N. M., who is in his 83rd year, and of the 5th generation from Experience,inclusive. Experience lived and died at Joppa, in E. Bridgevvater, and on the farmnow owned by Charles Mitchell, great, great grandson of Experience, andwhich has remained in the familv from the beginning; each descendantbefore Charles, viz.; Edward, Edward, Gushing, lived and died on the samefarm, and the wills of all, Experience included, are preserved.
