עברית: ב-1928 הוקם מגדלור על ארמון הקיץ של עבדאללה פחה. לבניין שנמכר לכרמליטים ב-1846 הוספה קומה ב-1926. קונסול ספרד בחיפה, קבע את "סטלה מאריס" כשם המקום. הבניין נתפס על ידי הצבא הבריטי, והוא שימש אותם עד תום המנדט הבריטי ועזיבתם הסופית את ישראל (בסוף יולי 1948). כיום הוא משמש כבסיס חיל הים.
