Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_75060_5jpeg Notes: תחנת בית סוסין הוקמה ב1948 מסגרת מבצע שילוח לאספקת מים לירושלים הנצורה מבצע בזק של חברת מקורות קו המים שהונח עבר צמוד ל39דרך בורמה התחנה שימשה כבוסטר ומשאבת עזר המים הגיעו מקידוחי רחובות לכיוון ירושלים המשאבות נבנו במבני בטון מוגנים ביטחונית תחנת בית סוסין פעלה עד שנת 1952 אז הופעלו הקו המנדטורי שהוביל מים ממעיינות ראש העין והקו שהוביל מים מאשתאול לשער הגיא שניהם סיפקו את המים לירושלים שיקום וניקוי התחנה וסביבותיה נעשה על ידי עובדי מקורות מרחב מרכז ומחלקת דוברות והסברה במקורות
