Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_71441_8.jpg Notes: מצפון לנחלת יהודה עמד ב 1948 בית מפואר עם צמחיה ותעלות מים של הערבי זוהדי אבו ג39בן מיפו. הבית נתפס על ידי כנופיה ערבית שאיימה על הכניסה הצפונית לראשלquotצ. דרומית למתחם נסללה דרך הביטחון מתל אביב במעקף יישובי הערבים אזור ובית דג39אן. בפברואר 1948 הופעל מוקש תחת אוטובוס נוסעים שעבר בדרך הביטחון. 28 נפצעו 8 פצועים קשה. הוחלט לפוצץ את הבית. מבצע הפיצוץ נעשה על ידי מחלקה מגדוד 52 בחטיבת גבעתי בפיקוד שלמה להט ציץ ב-26 בפברואר. בפשיטה פוצצו הארמון הדו קומתי והבאר שמצפונו. במקום ישנה מצבת זיכרון.
