Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_71103_20200808_114642.jpg Notes: מלון ניו אימפריאל הוקם בין השנים 1884�1887 בשם quotמלון גרנד ניו הוטלquot על ידי הכנסייה היוונית אורתודוקסית. המלון הוקם בכיכר עומר אבן אל ח39טאב שבצידו הפנימי של שער יפו בירושלים העתיקה. לאחר מספר שנים קשות השכירה הכנסייה את המלון למשפחה ערבית-נוצרית בשם מוּרקוּס וזו הביאה לשגשוגו של המלון ולהפיכתו למלון מבוקש .בשנת 2005 נרכש המלון יחד עם מלון אמדורסקי דרך חברת קש על ידי עמותת עטרת כהנים. בשנת 2016 אישר בית המשפט המחוזי את הרכישה. ערעור כנגד פסק הדין נדחה ביוני 2019.ויקיפדיה
