Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_70964_810_4890.jpg Notes: חדרה- בשנת 1912המשרד הארצישראלי בראשותו של דquotר ארתור רופין רכש חלקת אדמה בצפונה של המושבה בכספי הקרן הקיימת לישראל. החלקה נקנתה מוועד המושבה חדרה ועליה הוקמה שכונת נחליאל שמנתה בהתחלה עשרים בתים ושלושה צריפים גדולים שבהם התגוררו עשרות משפחות של עולי תימן כעבור שנים אחדות נוספו עוד עשרה בתים שנבנו בכספי קרן היסוד. את המים לצורכי הבית נשאו הנשים ממרחק רב בפחים על ראשיהן. הבאר בשכונה הבריכה ובית הכנסת אלה נבנו רק כעבור מספר שנים.
