Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_70208_20170509_113415_001.jpg Notes: נֶגְבָּה הוא קיבוץ מתנועת הקיבוץ הארצי השומר הצעיר באזור מישור החוף הדרומי ליד הערים קריית מלאכי קריית גת ואשקלון השייך למועצה אזורית יואב. במלחמת 1948 למרות ההתקפות המצריות הכבדות שנסתייעו במטוסים בטנקים ובתותחים לא עלה בידם לכבוש את הקיבוץ. נגבה נהרסה אך מגיניה התחפרו בבונקרים בתעלות ובעמדות ומשם המשיכו בעמידתם האיתנה בפני ההתקפות החוזרות ונשנות שנמשכו כשלושה חודשים. במבצע יואב הובס הצבא המצרי ויקיפדיה
