Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_69862_20190321_101135.jpg Notes: כַּפְר קָאסִם היא עיר ערבית באזור השרון. העיר שוכנת בקצה הדרומי של quotהמשולשquot צפונית לראש העין בשנת 1959 קיבל הכפר מעמד של מועצה מקומית ובמרץ 2008 הוכרזה כפר קאסם כעיר. באתר חרבת אל נבי חתי בעיר נמצאו שרידי יישוב מן התקופה הרומית. ההתיישבות הנוכחית במקום החלה במאה ה-18 או בראשית המאה ה-19. ברשימות משלהי המאה ה-19 נחשב כפר קאסם עדיין כquotמזרעהquot חווה עונתית של היישוב השכן מסחה. בהמשך הפך ליישוב עצמאי. במאה ה-19 קלט הכפר אוכלוסייה מהר חברון. הכפר סופח לישראל ב1948ויקיפדיה
