Español: Figura 1. La piel de <<cola de resorte>> combina cerdas y un patrón de peine nanoscópico único.

El patrón de peine rómbico está formado por pequeños gránulos primarios conectados por crestas.

Además, algunas especies, pero no todas, poseen gránulos secundarios papilosos (SG), que pueden diferir significativamente en forma, según el hábitat específico y el tamaño corporal de la especie respectiva.
