Español: Figura 1. Curación sin cicatrices de heridas por escisión de espesor total en ajolotes adultos.

B) Imagen ampliada de epidermis y dermis. La epidermis (arrriba en rojo) está pseudoestratificada y contiene células epiteliales y células de Leydig (flechas amarillas), mientras que la dermis se divide en el estrato esponjoso (que contiene glándulas y fibroblastos dérmicos) sobre la MEC densamente compactada del estrato compacto.
Tinción tricrómica de Masson de la piel del flanco dorsal ileso en ajolotes que muestra la epidermis (E) en rojo, la dermis (D) en celeste.

Barra de escala = 100 µm.
