OF SHROPSHIRE. 127 Henry, third Earl of Stamford, by whom lie had one son, who died unmarried in 1762, amione daughter, Elizabeth, who espoused Philip Langdale, Esq. of Boughton and Stancton,in the County of York, by whom she had no issue. Sir Richard died on the 20th ofNovember, 1791, and demised his estates between his cousin, (in the third degree) JohnFrancis Edward Acton, the successor to the title, and his son-in-law, during the life-timeof his daughter, but to revert upon her death, without issue, to his heir at law. In theevent of a total failure of issue, the estates to devolve upon Major Barnston, the son ofhis sister Elizabeth. 6.—Sir John Francis Edward, the sixth baronet, was great grandson to Sir Walter, thesecond, being great grandson of his second son, Edward.
