The Magicicnnc,Arrogant, Cossack, and Ruby attacked and destroyeda new earthen battery at Fredrikshamn, a townbetween Viborg and Hclsingf ors; and shortlyafterwards the same squadron, Captain Yelvertons,aided by gun-boats and mortar-boats, destroyed afort on the island of Kotka, a short distance west-ward of that town.
