Español: El Pico Almanzor — cuyo verdadero nombre es Plaza del Moro Almanzor — es la montaña más alta de todas las que coronan el Circo de Gredos. También se trata de la cima más alta de la Sierra de Gredos y de todo el Sistema Central. Tiene 2592 msnm de altitud y una prominencia de 1690 m. Se trata de un pico ultraprominente, categoría que se ha creado para clasificar a las montañas con una prominencia mayor de 1500 m. Está situado en la provincia de Ávila (España), y su cumbre forma parte de la divisoria entre los municipios de Zapardiel de la Ribera y Candeleda. |
