Description |
English: A drinking fountain extends off the side of a rectangular stone base. Bluffs Picnic Area - Doughton Park. Small-scale features of the picnic area landscape include drinking fountains, picnic tables, and fireplaces. All are built with stone in a rustic style, dating to the 1930s-40s. Although some repair work since that time has used materials and workmanship inconsistent with the original construction, they still retain enough character to contribute to the significance of the property as a National Historic Landmark.
