Summary

[edit]
Description Pica nuttalli The Audubon Society is concerned about the diminishing numbers of California's Yellow-billed Magpie and set aside this weekend for birders to go out and count their numbers. This is one of 45 we saw in the eastern part of San Luis Obispo County. Only in the Central part of California is this Magpie with the yellow bill found...all the other Magpies have black bills and no yellow markings around the eye.
