English: The mountain is situated on the northern edge of the Mont-Louis - Andorra Hercynian granite pluton (as in the granite blocks in the foreground). A zone of Cambrian and Ordovician metasediments (quartzites, conglomerates, schists, etc - as in the dark cliffs to the left of the summit) extends to the north. Français : La montagne est située sur la bordure nord du pluton granitique hercynien de Mont-Louis - Andorre (blocs au premier plan), avec une zone de métasédiments cambriens et ordoviciens (quartzites, conglomérats, schistes, etc - falaises à gauche du pic) au nord.
