"π = 3: If You Disagree, You're a COMMUNIST!" Years ago, infamously, a stage legislature voted that the value of pi was three. This was because of a passage in the Bible where the measurements came out that way. If the Bible is infallible, that can't be rounding, faulty measurement, or simply that the ancient Hebrews hadn't figured out how to precisely calculate pi yet. All very funny until they start deciding what goes into your textbooks. |
