Description
English: Phra Kiao, Thai equivalent of the coronet. It is the personal emblem of King Chulalongkorn and the symbol of Chulalongkorn University. The one pictured is a replica of the original one at the Grand Palace, made in 1986 with permission of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and given to the University on 13 July, 1989. Permanently on display at Chulalongkorn University Memorial Hall.
ไทย: พระเกี้ยว เป็นศิราภรณ์ประดับพระเกศาหรือพระเศียรของพระราชโอรสและพระราชธิดาของพระมหากษัตริย์ ใช้เป็นพิจิตรเลขาประจำรัชกาลในพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว และตราสัญลักษณ์ของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย องค์ที่ปรากฏในภาพเป็นพระเกี้ยวจำลองซึ่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยได้รับพระบรมราชานุญาตให้สร้างขึ้นใน พ.ศ. 2529 ปัจจุบันประดิษฐานอยู่ที่หอประวัติ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
