Français : Marcel Dugré (né 19 mars 1893, Palais Morbihan - 25 septembre 1915 à Perthes dans la Marne) Service militaire en cours au moment de la mobilisation (7 août 1914 parti de Vannes). Grade : sergent major - peloton sous ses ordres - appartenant au 116e régiment d'infanterie, 43e Brigade, 22e Division, 11e Corps d'Armée (parti de Vannes). Batailles : localisation Somme, Champagne Présence sur le front avec des charges à la baïonnette. Histoire personnelle du contributeur autour de ces documents : Fiancé avec l'arrière grand mère de la contributrice, issue d'une famille bourgeoise bretonne, Marcel Dugré n'est jamais revenu du front et n'a jamais épousé sa fiancée. Documents empaquetés dans des cartons du commerce de ses parents (famille de commerçants). La famille a retrouvé les documents à l'intérieur de ces cartons. Le contributeur a contacté les anciens combattants, la nièce de son arrière grand-père. Appartenant à une famille de la haute bourgeoisie bretonne. Caractéristiques des documents (lettres) : courrier jusqu'en juillet 1915, suivi de lettres de son lieutenant à sa famille A travers les documents retrouvés : sentiment patriotique très fort. Forte haine vis-à-vis de l'ennemi. Il retranscrit les batailles, fait le récit des combats, sans préciser la vie des hommes sur le front.
