As in the case of animal photographyvery often rapid movements are to befixed by the camera, a first-class rapidlens of sufficiently long focal length(seven to eight inches at least) shouldbe used. If it is possible to previouslydetermine the place where the exposuresare to be made, it is well to set up a suitablebackground in a proper position, corres-ponding, of course, as regards colour withthe objects to be photographed.
