English: This is a photographic portrait of Russian anarchist revolutionary and writer known by the pseudonym "Voline" (also spelled "Volin"), but known personally as Vsevolod Mikhailivich Eichenbaum (1882-1945). He was an active participant in the Russian Revolutions of 1905 and 1917 as well as the Russian Civil War and the Russian, French, and American anarchist movements. He is best known for his history entitled "The Unknown Revolution" in English, originally written in French. |
