Scope and Content Note:The artist Barry Faulkner painted this mural representing Thomas Jefferson and his committee, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston, submitting the Declaration of Independence to the presiding officer, John Hancock.
