日本語: 1942年4月18日、石川光陽撮影。写真は『決定版 東京空襲写真集』からのスキャン。1953年発行の『東京大空襲秘録写真集』(雄鶏社刊)のp.40に既出の写真なので旧著作権法により著作権保護期間が満了している。
English: On 18 April, 1942 was Tokyo attacked by the US. force for the first time and Kawasaki, Yokosuka, Nagoya, Yokkaichi and Kōbe were also bombed on the same day. On the Japanese side 87 and 466 people were killed and injured seriously or slightly, respectively, and 262 houses destroyed. These figures include damages of civilians. See Doolittle Raid and ドーリットル空襲 for the detail. As of 2015 is the original negative film extant.
