| Description |
We came across this red phone kiosk in rural Ceredigion, mid Wales. Sadly the phone box was no longer in use and had been vandalised. Especially from a distance the phone box seemed to reinforce the wild, remote nature of the landscape. The phone box is miles away from the nearest house, never mind village. But it is on the road between Tregaron and Llyn Brianne. Plans to decommission the phone box were reported by the BBC in November 2015 - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-mid-wales-34961790 |
